Definitions and Company Information
Throughout these Terms of Service:
“HDA Systems,” “HDA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to HD Connectivity Ltd trading as HDA Systems, located at:

“Websites” or “Stores” refers to the following domains:

- store.hda.systems
- uControl.world
“Product” refers to any hardware, software, or accessory sold via our stores.
“Customer” or “You” refers to the individual or entity purchasing the product.
By accessing our websites or purchasing from our stores, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
General Conditions and Shopify Platform
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
By using our store, you also agree to Shopify’s Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Shipping and Delivery
All orders are shipped from the United Kingdom.
Dispatch Time
If an item is in stock, we aim to ship the same working day for orders placed before our daily cut-off time of 2:00pm (UK time).
Carrier
All international shipping is handled via DHL. Domestic UK carriers may vary.
Shipping Costs
Shipping prices vary depending on the destination territory and basket contents. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
Responsibility
All shipping costs, including insurance, are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Duties and Taxes
All domestic or international duties, customs fees, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. HDA does not cover these costs.
International Orders and Support
If a product has been shipped outside the United Kingdom and a problem arises, it is the sole responsibility of the owner to return the unit to HDA in the UK.
All warranties for orders located outside of the UK are handled on a Return to Base basis in the UK.
HDA will not take action, including repairs or replacements, until the unit has been received at our UK facility.
Standard and Extended Product Warranties
HDA provides different levels of warranty coverage based on product type:
- Cables: Covered by a 5 year warranty.
- MHUB Systems: Covered by a standard 2 year warranty. This can be extended to a total of 5 years if the product is cloud registered at cloud.hdanywhere.com within 30 days of activation.
- Standard Hardware: All other hardware is covered by a standard 2 year warranty.
- Refurbished Hardware: Covered by a 2 year warranty. Refurbished products are not eligible for warranty extensions.
- Spare Parts and Repairs: Covered for 90 days from the date of repair or purchase.
Depreciating Warranty Extension
For products eligible for a 5 year warranty extension, a depreciation model applies to the value of the claim.
Every year, the original purchase price of the product is reduced by 10 percent. By the fifth year, the value of the system is 50 percent of the original purchase price.
This value can be used as a credit against a replacement system.
No cash refunds are available for warranty claims.

Original Price: £1,000
Year 1 to 2 (Standard Warranty Period): 100 percent value
Year 3: £800 credit (80 percent)
Year 4: £700 credit (70 percent)
Year 5: £500 credit (50 percent)
Returns and Refund Policy
Requesting a Refund
You have 30 calendar days from the date of shipment to notify us that you wish to return goods.
To be eligible for a return:
- Goods must be in the same condition that you received them
- Goods must be in original packaging without damage
- Proof of purchase is required
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA)
We will reject and return any goods sent back without a corresponding approved RMA form.
You must complete RMA paperwork before shipping your item back to HDA.
Returning Goods
It is your responsibility to return goods to us.
Goods remain under your ownership and responsibility until they are received and processed at our facility.
You are responsible for paying all shipping costs, including duties and customs fees, when returning goods.
If your return is high in value, we recommend using a courier that provides tracking and insurance to cover the goods in the event of loss or damage in transit.
Warranty Claim Outcomes
Up to 30 Days
We will replace your product with a new unit.
30 Days to 2 Years
We will repair or replace your product. If we are unable to do so, we will provide a 100 percent credit of the price paid, redeemable at the HDA Factory Store.
2 Years to 5 Years (Extension Period)
All claims are handled on a Return to Base basis at our Malvern facility. If we cannot repair or replace the unit, we will provide a credit of the price paid, less depreciation as outlined in Section 6, redeemable in our store or stores.
Limitations and Exclusions
This guarantee does not apply to products that are:
(a) Used in rental or demonstration applications;
(b) Misused, altered, improperly installed, or repaired without HDA’s written consent;
(c) Subject to normal wear and tear, environmental damage including lightning strikes, accidental damage including water damage, misuse such as damaged ports caused by poor termination, or negligence including failure to provide adequate ventilation.
Replacement Policy
HDA does not offer advanced replacements.
A replacement unit will only be issued once the original defective unit has been received and inspected by our technical team.
The customer is responsible for:
- All shipping costs to return the unit
- All duties and taxes on the replacement unit
HDA will not arrange or pay for the collection of items.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
