When AV systems grow beyond two rooms, managing sources locally becomes inefficient. Multiple subscriptions, duplicated hardware, and inconsistent control quickly undermine usability. A central matrix simplifies this by allowing any source to be viewed in any room.
The MHUB (4×4) 100A is typically used in small to medium homes, hospitality spaces, and commercial buildings. Four centralised sources feed into the matrix, which distributes AV to four displays over HDBaseT at distances up to 100m/328ft. Each output operates independently, allowing different content to be viewed simultaneously or synchronised across all displays.
Within a complete AV system, the MHUB sits between sources and displays as the core distribution layer. HDBaseT ensures stable long-range transmission over Cat6 cabling, while built-in, stereo-only audio extraction with analogue pre-amp volume and control readiness allow the system to integrate cleanly with power amplifiers and active speakers for simpler, property-wide AV distribution. Integration with uControl or other control systems guarantees the best user experiences.
