XTND Audio (100) eARC

The XTND Audio (100) eARC is designed for clean, modern TV installations where the display is installed in one location but the sound system amplifier is located elsewhere. Smart TVs now generate audio internally from streaming apps, but sending that audio back to an AV Receiver over distance is difficult or even impossible using standard HDMI cables.

This extender transmits eARC audio from the TV to a remotely located AV Receiver over a single Cat6 cable, preserving full surround formats such as Dolby Atmos. Unlike optical audio connections, eARC maintains high-bitrate audio with no format restrictions, even over long cable runs.

In practice, the TV connects to the XTND transmitter, the receiver connects to the amplifier, and a Cat6 cable links the two. Audio and CEC control commands travel together, allowing normal volume and power control using the original TV remote or a Smart Remote. The result is a clean, decor-friendly TV installation with no visible cables and the best in-room listening experience from bulky and often unsightly audio equipment now installed up to 100m/328ft away in a less-visible location.
